4.7.2 Electrical Isolation
All installations should be fitted with a local isolation switch immediately adjacent to the heat pump. Wir-
ing for the connection between the heat pump and local isolator will be a maximum of 10mm

.
Wiring sizes between the consumer unit (fuse box) and local isolator will depend on the length of cable
run and how the cable is installed. As this is site dependant, the site electrician should and is responsible
for calculating this.
The isolator should not be mounted on the casing.
