CAUTION
!
To reduce the risk of injury from moving parts,
unplug cleaner before connecting Hand tool.
Read “before using machine” instructions
1. Turn off and unplug cleaner from electrical outlet.
2. Remove the hose and the upholstery tool from
the tool caddy.
3. Open the upholstery tool door by pushing it
forward and down as shown in Fig. 3.5.
4. Align the connector on the hose to the inlet and
push in until it snaps in place as shown in Fig 3.6
5. Select the wash High/Normal setting to the
normal or high setting depending on the amount of
soiling. (Fig 3.1)
6. Turn switch on to the “Upholstery” position (Fig.
3.7). The brushes will not turn. Only the extraction
motor and the pump will be energized.
7. Working at a slow, steady pace, begin cleaning
by pressing the tool lever while pulling the tool over
the fabric (or carpet). Overlap the passes.
8. For heavily soiled areas pre-spray the area first
by releasing cleaning solution a few inches over the
stain, and work the solution into the area with the
brush in the tool. Then extract the solution. Be
careful to not over-saturate the fabric. Make as
many extraction-only passes as you feel are
necessary.
9. When cleaning is complete, rinse the upholstery
tool and the hose by vacuuming up some clean
water from any container. Turn machine off and
unplug from electrical outlet.
10. Remove hose and tool and store them in the
tool caddy. Close the upholstery tool door, remove,
empty and clean the clean water tank and the dirty
water tank as instructed in section 2.
