2 Safety
2.1 General information
The ProfiMaster device was developed and designed in accordance with the current
state of the art and established technical safety guidelines. Operating the ProfiMaster
device may be associated with risks to the operator, resp. the risk of damage to the
instrument or other property damage if it is:

operated by untrained or uninformed staff,
−
used contrary to its purpose and/or
−
improperly maintained.
2.2 Information about signs and symbols
DANGER
This is a warning of an imminent hazardous situation with an inevitable
result of a very severe injury or death if the identified instruction is not
strictly adhered to.
CAUTION
Indicates a possible hazard that can lead to a very severe personal
injury or death if the identified instruction is not strictly adhered to.
WARNING
This is a warning of a potentially dangerous situation with an inevitable
result of moderate or minor injuries and property damage if the
indicated instruction is not strictly adhered to.
NOTE
This is a note to provide useful information for safe and proper
handling.
