Scope of use
The back-flush filter Module F is tested
according to DIN EN 13443-1 and it has been
designed for use as a filter valve for drinking
water installations according to DIN 1988.
The Module F filter is mounted into a piping
system together with the KEMPER Basic
Module Figure 700 0G. In case of need it
can be optionally added to the Module DMF
pressure reducing valve-filter combination,
so that instead of the overflow cap mounted
at works the pressure reducing valve module
Figure 710 0G is added.
Due to hygiene and functional reasons,
the fillter shall not be used for well water
systems, as this might be classified as non
potable water. There is a risk of microbio-
logical contamination and clogging of the
filter in such a system. Industrial and process
water can be filtered with the DMF (Filter/
PRV combination). The used water must be
treated and free from bigger particles. Shor-
ter periods for processing a backwash are
recommended to avoid clogging.
