BEFORE FIRST USE
Risk of death due to choking/swallowing of packaging. Keep the packaging material away from
children. Dispose of it immediately!
Remove packing materials and all components. Before using the rice cooker for the first time, wash
the inner pot, the glass lid and the accessories (measuring cup, bamboo ladle) with warm soapy
water and dry them carefully. The bamboo spoon should occasionally be treated with olive oil or
similar. Do not immerse electrical parts in the water! Only wipe the outer cover with a damp cloth
- Only use the rice cooker with the supplied accessories. - Use the supplied accessories exclusively
with this rice cooker.
Remove the rice cooker from the packaging, remove all packaging from the appliance and
accessories, and check for damage to the rice cooker or items. If this is the case, do not use the
rice cooker. Contact the manufacturer about the service address given on the warranty card.
DANGER TO CHILDREN!
Never operate the device without the glass lid.
Do not leave the device unattended when it is in operation.
Any repair, maintenance or replacement of parts shall be performed by KeMar or an authorized
service company.
Before using the rice cooker, follow the instructions below.
Observe the following notes when setting up the rice cooker:
- Place the rice cooker on an easily accessible, level, waterproof, heat-resistant and su

ciently
stable work surface. Do not place the rice cooker near the edge or edge of the work surface.
- Avoid heat build-up by not placing the rice cooker directly against a wall or under wall cabinets,
shelves or similar. The leaking steam can damage furniture.
- Do not cover the ventilation slots on the underside.
- Never place the rice cooker on or near hot surfaces (e.g. hot plates, etc.).
- Place the rice cooker so that it cannot wobble and tip over.
