BEFORE FIRST USE
To minimize the risk of the rice foaming while cooking, wash the rice thoroughly. This reduces the
starch contained in the rice.
- If you allow precooked rice to swell in cold water for 5-10 minutes before cooking, the cooked rice
will be softer.
PREPARATION OF FOOD
During use, hot steam comes out of the lid.
Parts of the rice cooker are getting hot.
- Hot steam comes out of the steam valve on the glass lid. Ensure a su
ffi

all easily flammable objects, e.g. curtains.
- Do not touch the hot parts of the rice cooker with your bare fingers during operation. Always use
heat-insulated cooking gloves or pot holders to touch the rice cooker and its accessories. Also
alert other users to the dangers. After use, let the rice cooker cool down before handling it with
your bare hands.

shutdown. Keep enough distance to the steam valve on the glass lid.
