CARE AND CLEANING
Disconnect the plug from the mains. Before you clean the device, it should be
sufficiently cooled after use. Do not pour the liquid until it has cooled sufficiently
to avoid scalding. Never immerse the device in water as it may be damaged.
Clean the parts with a mild detergent and a little warm water. Before you use the parts again, please

ciently. Do not use scouring pads and sponges or aggressive fluids such as benzine
or acetone to clean the device.
Clean the surface of the appliance with a soft cloth or sponge, a little warm water and a mild
dishwashing detergent. Do not immerse the rice cooker in water.
1. Disconnect the power plug before cleaning.
2. Take of the lid of the rice cooker.
3. Wipe the surfaces and inner walls of the rice cooker with a slightly damp cloth.
4. Thoroughly clean the inside of the glass lid. The glass lid is removable and can be cleaned in the
dishwasher.
5. Clean the accessory with a soft cloth and mild detergent. The measuring cup, glass lid and the
steel pot are dishwasher safe.
6. The stainless steel pot is dishwasher safe and can also be cleaned with a soft sponge, water and
some detergent. In some rice varieties, a brown crust forms on the bottom of the pot. Soak in the pot
with lukewarm water and a little washing-up liquid to dissolve the crust with a sponge.
7. Then dry all parts with a clean cloth.
When cleaning in the dishwasher and with very hard water, the surface of the
stainless steel pot can discolour. You can remove the discoloration with citric acid
powder and a little hot water. To do this, put a teaspoon of citric acid in the stainless
steel pot and pour hot water on it and let it work for about 10 minutes. Then rinse the
pot thoroughly with water.
