USE/OPERATION
When using backhoe diggers, you should always strive for a more flexible technique. Flexibility is
achieved by learning and mastering the control levers.
Operate the machine only while seated at the control levers or inside the tractor. Any other method
may result in personal injury or death.
Never operate the tractor while someone is sitting on the unit!
Check the excavation area for foreign objects before using the machine.
Carefully dig into the area where objects are expected to be. If YOU feel the bucket coming into
contact with any object, stop the machine and stop digging immediately.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN EXCAVATING
Before excavation, it is a good idea to plan the work first. There are a number of things to bear
in mind. The operator should inspect the work area and check for possible hazards. The operator
should have a complete understanding of the work to be performed.
After familiarising yourself with the work area, it is time to plan the actual digging.
Position the backhoe digger so that you won't need to reposition the machine for the duration of
the excavation and to maximise the machine's efficiency.
DO NOT USE THE BACKHOE DIGGER IF THE STABILISERS ARE NOT FULLY IN CONTACT WITH
THE GROUND!
DO NOT USE THE BACKHOE DIGGER IF A LEAKAGE OCCURS. THIS CAN RESULT IN SUDDEN
LOSS OF HYDRAULIC PRESSURE WITH THE RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE MACHINE OR INJURY!
DANGER!
WARNING! .NEVER ALLOW INEXPERIENCED DRIVERS TO DRIVE THE TRACTOR AND/
OR OPERATE THE MACHINE!
