OPERATION AND DRIVING
Only those who understand the safety instructions and the operating instructions may use the
equipment or product. Exercise caution and care when working with the equipment and only use it in
the way described in the operating instructions. There is a risk of crushing when working with equipment
that has moving parts. Exercise caution when working with equipment with hydraulic hoses as oil under
pressure can penetrate the skin. Immediately seek medical attention if this should occur.
Always work alone with equipment that is made for working alone. Never overload the equipment
and respect its risk zone.
The backhoe digger has 5 control levers. Two are for the stablisers and two for swinging the arm and
operating the bucket. The lever in the middle is for an extra function. Read the safety precautions in
the operating instructions before using the machine. Remember: Left and Right are determined by
the operator’s seated position on the unit/tractor and the steering towards the bucket.
STABILISERS
Pushing the levers forward will move the stabilisers “DOWNWARDS” and pulling the
levers back will move the stabilisers “UPWARDS”. Both stabilisers should only be lowered to stabilise
the backhoe digger during work.
BOOM/SWING:
Pushing the lever forward will “LOWER” the arm. Pushing the lever fully forward
engages “MOVING MODE”. Pulling the lever back will “RAISE” the arm. Pulling the lever to the left
swings the arm to the “LEFT” and pulling the lever to the right, swings the arm to the “RIGHT”.
OPERATING THE BUCKET
: Pushing the lever forward will move the arm “OUT” away from the operator.
Pulling the lever back will bring the arm “IN” towards the operator.
By moving the lever to the left, the bucket will “FILL” or turn (inwards).
By moving the lever to the right, the bucket will “TIP”, and turn (outwards).
Warning!
WARNING! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RAISE THE UNIT USING THE 3-POINT LINKAGE!
