DVD-2 SETU P MENU – AUDIO – DIGITAL AUDIO OUTPUT SETTINGS

It is not necessary t o make any changes to t he fact ory def ault settings unless you have an audio syst em
that is connect ed to the Digit al Audio Output of the DVD-2.
If you are unsure of the eff ect t hat a particular setting will have, we recommend t hat you just leave it at t he
fact ory def ault.
To restore all set tings to their
f actory default s
, ref er to the instructions on Page 22 labeled "Restoring
Factory Default s" at the end of the section on t he Language Menu.
Most DVD discs have a variety of audio output options. Set t he DVD-2's Digital Audio Out put according to
the type of audio system you use. Please refer to the instruction manual(s) accompan ying your audio
equipment for detailed instruct ions on the proper settings of the DVD-2’s Digital Output.
Procedure:
1.
Press SETUP to call up t he Set up menu.
2.
Press t he

ARROW but ton t wice to highlight AUDIO.
3.
Press t he ENTER button to call up the Audio sub-menu.
4.
Press t he

ARROW but ton t o move t o t he Digital Out sett ings
(the Analog Out sett ings are set to “2
Channel” and cannot be changed).
5.
Use the ARROW but tons to move to the desired it em(s).
6.
Press t he ENTER button repeat edly to cycle t hrough the available choices for each item.
7.
When t he desired choice is displayed, use the ARROW but tons to move to the next item you wish to
change.
Dolby D: Select Raw, Off or PCM.
DTS: Select Raw or Of f.
MP3/WMA: Select PCM or Of f.
CD/VCD: Select Raw, Of f or PCM.
Note:
The / – butt ons on the DVD-2 remote control do not aff ect t he level of t he Digital Audio
Out put.
