The encoder monitoring is a software function and dependent on the encoder type. 

The 

absolute track is monitored approx. all 30 ms and the incremental track is monitored ap-

prox. all 16 ms. 

If the permissible signal levels are fallen below „Error! Encoder 1“ (value 

32) is triggered. 

Dependent on the encoder type the response time can be 100 ms and 

more.
