Receiving SMS

Receive an SMS

Once an SMS is received, you are notified of the new mail in the
following ways.

•

A new SMS icon is displayed in the standby screen, "

" in the

status bar, and a mail ringtone sounds.

•

If the product is folded, "

" is displayed in the sub-display.

•

The charging/notification indicator flashes.

When the standby screen is displayed, press

(hold

down)

The SMS thread list is displayed.
"

" is displayed for threads with unread SMS.

Select the thread for the contact to check

The content of the thread that includes the received SMS is
displayed.

Receiving SMS is free.

You can confirm the phone number of the sender with received
SMS.

Received SMS may not be correctly displayed depending on the
content of the mail.

While data is being backed up or restored with the Data Storage
