Description of the display window
Setting the discharge time:
Checking or, if necessary, changing the discharge time of the capacitor stages
is a very important menu item. Please make sure that the correct value is set,
otherwise the system could be damaged!
Confi guring the capacitor stages:
There are two ways of confi guring the capacitor stages. The stages can either
be confi gured manually or using the auto confi guration mode.
NOTE
The Auto confi guration mode menu will not appear
if the "Learning mode" is deactivated in the "Extras" menu
It is important to set the stage power correctly. You can fi nd the stage power on
the nameplate of the stage or the circuit diagram and then program it manu-
ally. In this case, skip the menu item "Learning mode activate" and enter the
power value individually for each stage.
If you want to activate learning mode, ensure that all previous submenu param-
eters have been confi gured correctly.
To activate learning mode, press
U
change to Yes by pressing
V
then press
X
to confi rm. The auto confi guration then automatically sets the stage pow-
ers and discharge times, but these values need to be checked once the learning
process has been completed to ensure that they are correct.
NOTE
If an error occurs in auto confi guration mode (harmonics exceeding the limit,
measuring voltage too high, missing measuring voltage), the process is inter-
rupted and "Auto confi guration mode – Error" is displayed. Auto confi guration
mode can be restarted once the cause of the error has been rectifi ed.
System function test:
A function test should be performed after all values have been programmed
step by step, by disconnecting the controller from the power supply for a few
seconds.
