6. Error Recovery

e.g. unexpected or wrong values, reverse performance

  Check the settings of the measuring device according to its instruction manual.

  C heck whether the current transformer is mounted on the intended conductor in the 

direction of the energy fl ow.

   Check whether the current transformer is closed properly.

  Check the power requirements of the cables and measuring devices connected to the 

current transformer. This must not exceed the rated power of the current transformer. 
(See rating plate.)

   Should the aforementioned points not solve the problem: Check for dust or other 

contamination between both parts of the core. If so, gently clean the surfaces with a 
lint-free cloth.
Avoid hand contact (sweat)!
