Grounding / Earthing
The ESUL6-FL2 has an earth point located on the top panel of the switch. To achieve
the best earth connection, a circular cold-press terminal should be crimped to one
end of the earth wire and attached to the unit with the screw, making sure that the
star washer stays in contact with the body of the switch. The cross-section of
grounding wire should not be less than 2.5mm

DIP Switch Setting
The DIP switch settings are used to set either the fiber uplink ports to redundant
mode (in a ring configuration) or straight-through (not in a ring configuration) and if
they are in redundant mode then whether they are a master or slave.
Note
: In a redundant ring network, only one switch can be set as the master and
others are set as slaves.
