How to use
SCAN (station search)

1. Press the button (1) to select the station
search function SCAN, and confirm by
pressing the button (2).
– The system searches for DAB stations.
The number of stations found is
shown in the display and first station
found is played.
2. Press the button for about 2 seconds to
save the station in the station memory
under the required shortcut button (1 to
6).
3. Tap the required shortcut button to set the
station.
4. Press
[<</>>]
repeatedly until the
required station/frequency is shown.
12 V ANTENNA ON / OFF (antenna
amplification)
• Select ON if a DAB antenna with 12 V
antenna amplification is used.
• Select OFF if a passive DAB antenna or
DAB antenna with an external power
supply is used.
BLUETOOTH MODE
Communication
1. Browse through the programme sources
with the SRC button until the message NO
DEVICE is shown on the display. Activate
the mobile phone’s Bluetooth function
and select the Bluetooth device name
KAYOBA098.
2. Wait until the connection is made
– and the message PAIRED and the
name of your device are shown.
Use
1. Incoming calls are shown with the caller’s
number on the display. Press the green
button to answer the call. Press the red
button to end the call. Press the green
button to recall the last call.
2. Select BT MUSIC mode to activate A2DP
mode (audio streaming). Activate the
music function in your device, set the
phone’s output signal to maximum, and
press Play to start playback.
NOTE:
• Some phones do not support Bluetooth
and Bluetooth Music (A2DP).
• To connect or disconnect a device
manually, select RE-CON or DIS-CON with
the menu button.
DAB RADIO
Function
1. Browse through the programme sources
with the SRC button to DAB.
2. Press the menu button repeatedly when
the product is in DAB mode to browse
through the menu options:
SCAN -> 12V ON / OFF -> PRUNE (DAB RESET)
-> DIS-CON -> CLS -> BEEP.
