Electrically position the patient simulator (optional kit)
Note
To electrically adjusted the backrest (height and angle), the adjustment kit must
be electrically installed Mat. no. 1.006.3825.
Note
Do not sit on or lean against the back rest or patient simulator. The height adjust‐
ment can become damaged.
To prevent collisions during movements of the patient simulator, safety shutoff
switches are installed to protect people from injury and the product from damage.
The safety shut-down is activated if the patient simulator collides with a person or
object while its height or backrest are being adjusted.
Once the safety shut-down is activated, the LED on the "SP" button on the dentist
unit starts to flash.
CAUTION
Adjustment of the patient simulator position is associated with a risk of getting
pinched.
Various parts of the height adjustment move along when the patient simulator
position is adjusted.
▶ Stand back from the simulator.
5.16.1
Adjusting the patient simulator gradually
The patient simulator position can be gradually adjusted.
The patient simulator positions can be saved, and the saved positions can be re‐
trieved by the push of a button.
The patient simulator position can be selectively adjusted through:
▪ Keys of the dentist element and assistant element control panels
▪ Cross-switch on the foot control
