6 Servicing | 6.2 Cleaning the workplace light
▶ Insert the aluminium light grid, and insert the protective cap.
6.2 Cleaning the workplace light
WARNING
Electrical shock from water in the electrical part of the device!
Injury or death from electric shock.
▶ When cleaning, keep water from entering the workplace light.
6.2.1 Cleaning the outside of the workplace light
▶ Wipe off the workplace light when it is dirty with a moist cloth. Never use aggres‐
sive cleansers (solvents).
6.2.2 Cleaning the protective panel and aluminium light grid
The protective panel must be cleaned when it fogs due to wax vapour (from modelling)
and dust.
▶ Open the workplace light.
▶ Clean the protective panel and aluminium light grid if needed.
▶ Close the workplace light.
6.3 Replacing compact fluorescent lamps
DANGER
Electrical shock from repairs of live parts.
Injury or death from electric shock.
▶ Before opening housing parts, pull the power plug and disconnect the unit com‐
pletely from the power connection so that the unit is without power.
▶ Open the workplace light.
▶ Remove the defective compact fluorescent bulb ① from the support holder ② and
lamp holder ③, and dispose properly.
▶ Insert the connecting pins ④ of the new compact fluorescent bulb into the lamp
holder , and snap the bulb into the support holder ②.
▶ Close the workplace light.
