Picture-in-picture
The picture-in-picture function permits simultaneous viewing of two programmes. This allows you to see
when a programme you want to watch begins without having to leave the programme you are currently
watching. The PIP window is however only small since it is intended for monitoring purposes and not for
viewing programmes in the normal way.
Open the selection box (with the
button) and press
to select “Open Picture in Picture (PIP).” Con-
fi
rm with the
button. A window will open up in the upper right hand corner. The channel is indicated
above the picture:
You can also use the picture-in-picture
function during playback of a recording or
of MP3
fi
les.
Tipp!
Channel selection in the main picture
You can still change the channel in the main picture with the channel buttons
in the usual way.
Channel selection in the PIP
The channel in the PIP window can be changed using the
buttons, working in the sequence shown
in the currently selected channel list.
Switching channels between main picture and PIP
The
button allows you to switch between the channels being received (main picture and PIP).
To close the PIP window, press the
button, select “Close Picture in Picture (PIP)” and press the
button to con
fi
rm.
If two programmes are being recorded simultaneously, the picture-in-picture function
will not be available.
