Determine the length of cable (F) needed to submerge diffuser assembly in lift station. For optimal
performance, the diffuser should be submerged 3-4'.
It is important that airflow from the diffuser does not enter a running pump. If start/stop controls are
in place, the diffuser can be placed at the bottom of the lift station. Ensure the compressors are turned
off when the pumps are running and turned back on when the pumps are off. If no controls exist,
submerge diffuser head above the pump inlet to avoid cavitation in the pump. Water levels may need
to be increased for proper mixing and operation.
