STEAM IRON

INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Before selecting the temperature, read the instruction manual of the iron or 
the care advice on the tag in the clothing.
Note: if there is no care advice on the item of clothing, you should begin 
ironing at the lowest temperature. At lower temperatures, there will be less 
steam.
Caution: Synthetic fabrics can melt.
Iron the item of clothing.

To switch the iron off, turn the temperature regulator counterclockwise to the 
OFF position. You should then set the iron upright and pull the plug out of the 
mains socket.

STEAM IRON:

1. Before the initial use, fill the water reservoir as previously described.
2. Steam ironing can be used in the temperature range “●”, “●●”, “●●●” MAX.

For reliable functioning of teh steam iron, the water reservoir must be at least  

¼  filled.

3. Spraying function:Press the spray botton to damp down an area on the 
item being ironed. Water id sprayed from the nozzle.
4. Dry/Steam function: Select dry or steam ironing by pressing down or 
raising the button.
5. Warning! The steam is very hot. Do not use steam on items or materials 
that will immediately be worn by people or pets.
6. Attention: Only use the steam button when the iron has reached the
maximum or steam temperature. Do not press this button more than 3 times 
in quick succession.
7. Turn the appliance upside down and carefully pour the remaining water out 

connected to the mains socket.  

- Switch the appliance off befare disconnecting it from the mains.  

- Never use the cable to carry the appliance.  

- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with 

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or with a lack of experience 

and knowledge, unless a person responsible far their safety has given them 

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance.  

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the 

appliance.  

- The iron must be rested on a stable surface.  

- Keep the cable away from the hot sole.  

- Let the steam iron completely cool down before storing it.  

- Keep the instruction manual. lf the steam iron is given away to another 

person, the instruction manual must be handed aver tao.  

- Attention! Risk of burns! The sole of the iron will become very hot during 

use. Hot steam emerges from the iron during steam ironing. Only touch the 

unit on its handle.  

- Unplug the iron before you fili it with water. 

 

- Always turn off and unplug the iron when it is not in use, even far a short 

time.

BEFORE FIRST USE:

- Remove all packaging materiai.  
- Clean the sole of the iron (see cleaning and care).  

- Add distilled water through the water fili opening until the level reaches the 

maximum mark on the water reservoir. To do this, use the measuring cup. 

Do not use chemically de-calcified water. lnsert the power plug into a mains 

socket and set the temperature regulator to the highest temperature setting. 
Once the indicator has lit up, set the dry/steam button to its steam position 
and iron an old piece of cloth to remove any residue from the device.  

During the first use, there can be a slight odor or some smoke. This is

harmless and only lasts a short time. Make sure there is adequate ventilation.
