Dampfsterilisation

Das folgende Sterilisationsverfahren wurde von
KARL STORZ validiert: Fraktioniertes
Vorvakuumverfahren (Dampfsterilisation)

Warnung:

Schlauchsets dürfen nur mit

dem fraktionierten Vorvakuumverfahren
sterilisiert werden.

Die Behälter sind so in den Sterilisator zu stellen,
dass eine ausreichende Dampfzirkulation und
durchdringung gegeben ist, sowie die Luft ent-
weichen und das Kondensat abfließen kann.
Den Sterilisator entsprechend dessen
Gebrauchsanweisung beladen.
Nach Beendigung der Dampfsterilisation müssen
die sterilisierten Teile langsam abkühlen.

Warnung:

Verbrennungsgefahr! 

Teile sind nach der Dampfsterilisation
heiß. Abkühlen lassen!

Fraktioniertes Vorvakuumverfahren

Das fraktionierte Vorvakuumverfahren besteht
aus vier Phasen. 
• Konditionierphase

In der Konditionierphase wird in der Sterilisier-
kammer bis zu viermal ein Vakuum erzeugt. 
Anschließend wird Dampf eingeblasen. 

• Sterilisierphase

Die Sterilisation findet bei einer Temperatur
von 134 °C (+3 °C), einem Druck (absolut)
von 300 kpa (3 bar) über eine Dauer von
5 Minuten (Mindestzeit) statt.

• Evakuierungsphase

Der Dampf wird abgelassen.

• Trocknungsphase

Die Trocknung findet unter Anlegen eines
erneuten Vakuums über eine Dauer von ca. 
5–20 Minuten statt.

Steam sterilization

KARL STORZ has validated the following
sterilization method:
Fractionated prevacuum (steam sterilization)

Warning:

Tubing sets may only be 

sterilized using the fractionated prevacuum
procedure.

Trays should be positioned in the sterilizer so 
that there is adequate circulation and penetration
of steam, air removal and condensate drainage. 
Load the sterilizer according to its instruction
manual.
At the completion of the steam sterilization cycle, 
all instruments should remain untouched until
adequately cooled.

Warning:

Burn hazard! 

Parts are hot after steam sterilization.
Allow them to cool down.

Fractionated prevacuum procedure 

The fractionated prevacuum procedure consists
of four phases.
• Conditioning phase

The conditioning phase removes air from the
chamber by pulling a vacuum up to four
times. Steam is then blown in.

• Sterilization phase

Sterilization takes place at a temperature of
134°C (+3°C) and a pressure (absolute) of
300 kpa (3 bar) over a period of 5 minutes
(minimum time). 

• Evacuation phase

The steam is released.

• Drying phase

Drying takes place under renewed 
application of a vacuum over a period of
approx. 5–20 minutes.

Esterilización por vapor

KARL STORZ ha validado el siguiente método de
esterilización:
Prevacío fraccionado (esterilización por vapor)

Cuidado:

Los sets de tubos flexibles sólo

pueden ser esterilizados por el procedi-
miento de prevacío fraccionado.

Las bandejas deben colocarse en el esterilizador
de modo que haya una adecuada circulación y
penetración de vapor, supresión de aire y drena-
je de condensado. 
El esterilizador hay que cargarlo de acuerdo con
sus instrucciones de uso.
Al finalizar el ciclo de esterilización al vapor, todo
el instrumental debe enfriarse lentamente.

Cuidado:

¡Peligro de quemaduras!

Las piezas están calientes tras la
esterilización al vapor. ¡Déjelas enfriar!

Procedimiento de prevacío
fraccionado

El procedimiento de prevacío fraccionado cons-
ta de 4 fases. 
• Fase de acondicionamiento

En la fase de acondicionamiento se extrae el
aire de la cámara creando un vacío hasta cuatro
veces. A continuación se introduce el vapor.

• Fase de esterilización

La esterilización se realiza a una temperatura
de 134°C (+3°C), y una presión (absoluta)
de 300 kpa (3 bar) durante un período de
5 minutos (tiempo mínimo).

• Fase de evacuación

Se libera el vapor.

• Fase de secado

El secado se produce creando un nuevo vacío
durante un período de aprox. 5 a 20 minutos.
