Please read the cleaning instructions of the
manufacturer before treating leather, special
fabrics and wooden surfaces and always do
a trial on a sample or some hidden part. Let
the steam-treated surface dry and then
check whether there are any changes to the
colour or form on account as reaction to the
steam.
We recommend that you be very careful
while cleaning wooden surfaces (furniture,
doors, etc.) because long exposure to steam
can damage the wax coating, the finish or
the surface colours. Hence we recommend
that you use steam only for short intervals or
first clean the surface with a cloth that has
been steam-moistened.
For highly sensitive surfaces (for e.g. syn-
thetic materials, painted surfaces, etc.) we
recommend that you use the steam function
at the minimum performance level.
We recommend that you use the floor nozzle
on large surfaces, ceramic floors, marble
floors, parquet (only at maximum vacuum
cleaning level and minimum steam level),
carpets, etc. by using the following attach-
ments.
!
Bursh lamellas (D1) for dry vacuum
cleaning.
!
Hard rubber lamellas (D2) for cleaning
and brushing carpeted floors.
!
Rubber lamellas (D3) for sucking in liq-
uids on smooth surfaces.
"
Remove existing attachments from the
side.
"
Insert the desired attachments from the
side (Fig. C).
Hinweis:
Push the brush lamella with crevic-
es in the front, the second one at the rear of
the nozzle.
While inserting rubber lamella (D3) make
sure that the smooth surface is on the inner
side.
