Check and top up the
battery acid level
Danger!
Always heed safety precautions for
handling batteries!
!
Screw out all cell plugs
!
Draw a samble from each cell
with the battery hydrometer
!
Return each acid sample to the
same cell
At 20 °C, the acid of a fully-
charged battery has a specific
weight of 1,28 kg/l
The acid of a partially-charged
battery has a specific weight
between 1,00 and 1,28 kg/l
The specific gravity of the acid
must be identical in all cells
!
If the battery acid level is too low,
top-up the cells with distilled
water until the top edge of the
plates is just covered with liquid
!
Charge the battery until a specific
weight of
1
,28 kg/l is reached
Changing fuses
1. Drive control/electronics fuses
The fuses for the drive
control/electronics are installed
under the front covering.
The front covering must be removed
when a fuse needs replacing.
Warning!
Disconnect the battery prior to
replacing a fuse.

Unscrew the screws at both sides
of the covering
Note:
Longer screws are used in the
upper bore holes.

Replacing blown fuses

Refasten front covering
Note:

See the label on the control
electronics for the fuse
assignment

Use only fuses with the same
current rating
2. Battery terminal fuse
!
Removing rear trim panel
!
Screw out fastening screws of
unit cover
!
Open unit cover
!
Disconnect connecting cable at
negative terminal post (
1
)
!
Loosen fastening nut (2) at fuse
bracket
!
Replace defective fuses
!
Retighten fastening nut (2)
!
Connect connecting cable to
negative terminal post (
1
)
!
Close unit cover
!
Screw the cover’s fastening
screw back in
!
Mount rear trim panel
Note:

Use only fuses with the same
current rating
Replacing side brush
!
Unscrew Allen screw of side
brush fastening at carrier
!
Slip new side brush on carrier
plate
!
Fasten with Allen screws
Checking and adjusting
sweeping area of the side
brush
!
Raise the side broom
!
Drive sweeper over a flat, smooth
surface covered with a clear layer
of dust
!
Lower side brush and start up
!
Raise the side broom
!
Drive aside backwards
!
Check the sweep mirror
Width of sweeping range should be
between 40 - 50 mm
Note:

The sweeping pattern is
automatically adjusted to wear of
the brushes due to the floating
suspension of the side brush.
—
Replace the side brush when the
bristles are too worn.
