      IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AND SUPPLY

WARNING - THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED

The supply voltage must be the same as that shown on the rating plate.

Important 

:  if a new plug is to be fitted

– the wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following

code : Green and yellow - Earth / Blue - Neutral / Brown - Live

– as the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not

correspond with the markings identifying the terminals in your plug, pro-
ceed as follows :

– the wire which is marked with the letter „E“ or by the earth symbol  

  or

coloured green and yellow

– the wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which

is marked with the letter „N“ or coloured black

– the wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which

is marked with the letter „L“ or coloured red

– each wire must be properly connected to the appropriate terminal pin of a

suitable plug and the outer sheath of the mains lead securely retained by
the cable clamp arrangement of the plug

– If a 13 Amp BS 1363 plug is used it should be fitted with a 13 Amp fuse

If any doubt, contact your nearest Karcher Authorised Agent
or Qualified Electrician
