Troubleshooting

Caution
To avoid risks, all repairs and replacement of spare parts may only be carried out by the authorised customer service
personnel.
Prior to all work on the appliance, switch off the appliance and pull the power plug.

Pump runs but does not
transport
Air in the pump

Suction pipe blocked
Switch off the pump, pull the mains plug and clean the
intake area.
Pre-filter is dirty
Switch off the pump, pull the mains plug, allow the
pump to cool down, clean intake area, prevent dry run-
ning.
Remove the pre-filter and the check valve and clean it
under running water, flush dirt residues from the bot-
tom of the filler neck through the filler hole if necessary.
Restart by switching the pump back on.
Suction hose or connection
adapter not screwed in correct-
ly or completely.
Check whether all seals have been installed and are
seated correctly prior to assembly.
Manually tighten the suction hose and the connection
adapter.
Pump does not run or sud-
denly comes to a standstill
during operations
Power supply interrupted
Check fuses and electrical connections
Pre-filter is dirty
Remove the pre-filter and the check valve and clean it
under running water, flush dirt residues from the bot-
tom of the filler neck through the filler hole if necessary.
The appliance is in the auto-
matic mode.
Pressure in the system >
1.3 bar.
The pump automatically switches back on as soon as
the pressure in the system falls below 1.3 bar.
In automatic mode the device does not start up even
after switching it off and back on if there is an internal
pressure of more than 1.3 bar, thus, when a water col-
umn of more than 13 metres affects the pump.
Pump stops, LED "Error on
suction side" is illuminated.
Failure on the suction side,
pressure cannot build up
Switch off the pump and pull the power plug.
Remove the pre-filter and the check valve and clean it
under running water, flush dirt residues from the bot-
tom of the filler neck through the filler hole if necessary.
Restart by switching the pump back on.
Check connections on the suction side for leakage.
Restart by switching the pump back on.
Check if there is sufficient water in the suction contain-
er (e.g. cistern).
Flow rate very low -> the dry
run protection has switched off
the pump.
Check if there is sufficient water in the suction contain-
er (e.g. cistern).
The flow is insufficient. Open tap more.
Fault delivery side (leakage or
closed tap) during suction.
Pump does not end the suction
mode.
Open tap.
Check system for leakage. If the leakage cannot be
eliminated, install pressure equalization container.
