Single-Sided Grill
• Apply preheating by adjusting the suitable temperature setting.
• Place the material to be cooked on the lower heating plate.
• Open the upper body 90° by pulling it vertically upwards.
• When the upper body is open, you can grill your dishes without contact with the
upper heating plate.
• Take the dishes out of the heating plate by use of a wooden spatula.
NOTE:
Since the thermostat constantly keeps the desired temperature during use, the
thermostat/warning light can be occasionally on and off.
WARNING:
1-NEVER touch the outer surfaces of the device during use, since they would also
heat-up. Only use the handle to open the upper body. When the upper body is
opened, or while it is closed during regular cooking, vapour may come out
between the heating plates of the device. Be careful while taking dishes out of
the device.
2- Only use plastic or wooden tools to take dishes out of the heating plate in order
to avoid damage on the non-stick surfaces. Never use metal tongs, forks or
knives, which may damage the non-stick coating.
CONDITIONS TO BE OBSERVED DURING MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND USE
• Never attempt to dismantle and repair the device, if it is out of order.
• Do not turn on the device and consult the authorized technical service, if the
device drops on the ground, it is exposed to a hard impact, or any fracture or
crack appears on it.
• Never attempt to replace damaged cables or plugs yourself and consult the
authorized technical service.
• Please do not carry the device by holding its cable.
• Please hold the plug itself when you want to unplug the device and nevertryto
unplug by pulling the cable.
• Please keep the device unplugged when it is not in use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Please firstly unplug the device and leave it to cool down before cleaning and
maintenance.
• Please clean the heating plates after every use in order to protect the non-stick
material coated surfaces.
• You can clean the heating plates by use of a soft piece of cloth or a plastic brush
and warm soapy water, or wash them in the dish washer.
• Resistor marks may appear on the heating plates because of the heat applied. It
will be enough to wash the plates to get rid of the marks.
• Please do not use abrasive materials such as metal brushes or wires in order to
avoid causing damage on the non-stick material coated surfaces.
• After removing the heating plates, you can clean the resistors and heat reflection
trays by use of a piece of damp cloth.
• By winding the cable on the cable holder, you can keep the device in vertical
position thanks to the automatic locking function.
• NEVER immerse the device in water, except the heating plates.
