To define the Keeper identification settings, follow these steps:
1. Enter the host name where the Keeper will be running in the
Hostname
text field. For example,
localhost.ru
.
If you do not define the host name, it will be identified automatically.
2. In
the
Keeper e-mail
text field, define the From address for
the virus-detected notifications that will be sent to administra-
tors, senders and recipients included in the address groups.
3. In
the
Recipient hosts
text field, define the destination host
names for mail messages to be processed by the Keeper.
Every name in the list must be placed on a new line!
To define communication between Keeper and the daemon
process, follow these steps:
1. Select one of the following Keeper/daemon communication
parameters from the
Link type
drop-down list:
•
File
– communication via a local file.
•
Shared memory
– communication via shared memory.
•
Inet connect
– communication via the Internet.
2. In
the
Socket path
text field, define the path to a directory
that contains the socket file to be used in communication be-
tween the Keeper and the daemon process. Depending on the
value specified in the
Link type
text field you may enter one
of the following paths:
•
Full path to the AvpCtl file,
if the communication to be
performed via
File
or
Shared memory
