Kaspersky Anti-Virus for xBSD Mail Server checks mail databases of the
following formats:

Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express (*.pst and *.pab
files, a type of MS Mail archive);
•
Microsoft Internet Mail (*.mbx files, a type of MS Internet Mail ar-
chive);
•
Eudora Pro & Lite;
•
Pegasus Mail;
•
Netscape Navigator Mail;
•
JSMail SMTP/POP3 server (user database).
To check for viruses in mail databases,
type

in the
MailBases
line of the profile. Otherwise, type

.
This parameter corresponds to the command line switch
-MD[-]
. The

enables, and the switch
-MD-
disables your anti-virus
scanner to check for viruses in mail databases.
While scanning mail databases Kaspersky Anti-Virus for xBSD Mail
Server checks every entry and scans attached files. The following for-
mats are supported: UUEncode; XXEncode; btoa (up to 5.0); btoa 5.*;
BinHex 4.0; ship; NETRUN 3.10; NETSEND 1.0 (not packed);
NETSEND 1.0C (packed); MIME base64.
