3. Check
the
Enable background scan box
(unchecked by default)
and specify the desired scan launch option:
•
Each time anti-virus database is updated –
every time the
anti-virus database is updated.
•
Scheduled scan
– according to the specified schedule.
If you need to launch the scan immediately, press the
Scan now
button.
4. If you selected the scheduled scan launch option, you will have to
create the schedule. In order to do this, press the
Configure
button
and specify the mode and the start time for the scan in a window
that will open (see Figure 23).
You can restrict the scan time. In order to do this, check the
Stop
scan in [NN] hours
box and specify the desired time period in
hours. After this period of time (24 hours by default) expires, the
scan will be stopped.
5. In order to apply the changes, press the
Apply
or the
OK
button.
