1.4. Operation and description of a flowmeter
1.4.1. Flowmeter description
Flowmeters are produced in accordance with requirements of GOST
R EN 1434. In general, the flowmeter comprises an assembly of flow
tube FT and electronic module EM, integrated in a single device, see
figure 1.4.
EM apparatus is identical for all dimension types and design versions
of the flowmeters. Dimension types differ in FT structure.
Diversity in FT structure is caused by fluid dynamic properties in pipe-
lines of different diameters.
FT are marked in accordance with 1.6.1 clause of the present OM.
