Power
consumption
of
mains
connected
meter
The
gained
power
of
meters
connected
to
24
VAC
or
230
VAC
appears
from
the
marking
on
the
meter’s
front.
The
marking
states
an
average
maximum
value
for
the
meter’s
gained
power,
and
over
a
period
of
time,
the
power
will
not
exceed
the
marking.
For
instance
short
periods
with
data
communication
require
a
short
‐
term
increase
of
the
energy
consumption,
whereas
longer
periods
without
data
communication
require
less
energy.
The
table
shows
examples
of
accumulated
yearly
consumption
for
MULTICAL®
603
with
various
supply
types.
