Connection Pulse Interface

The pulse interface has two outputs

–

‘V

olume

’

and

‘

Energy

’

. flowIQ® 3100 only uses the volume output.

Each pulse output consists of 3 terminals:

‘

GND

’

‘

Volume Pulse

’

and

‘

Pull-up Volume

’

. When the pulse output is

active, Pulse is drawn to GND, i.e.

the output is ’active low‘. A 10kΩ

resistance is placed from Pull-Up to Pulse.

The supply for terminals 1 and 2 and the supply connected to the Pull-Up do not need to be the same or at the
same level. The connection of the 8-pole plug
