4. Levelling/Water Connection

Remove the outer stretch wrapping and cardboard box.
Caution:
Do not remove the struts during installation and operation.

Place the Katherm NX with the PowerKon heat exchanger near the
window.
Caution:
The height-adjustment feet are already fitted to the floor duct.
However, these were attached to the foot underneath the duct
for transportation purposes. Loosen the outer fastening nut on
the height-adjustment feet and turn the raised floor mounting
feet 180° so that is pointing outwards (see Fig. 1) in order to
install and adjust the height of the duct.

Then set up the floor duct and adjust the height of the height-
adjustment feet

Fix the height-adjustment feet, room-side

with rubber underlays for
sound absorption

, with screws and rawlplugs provided on-site.

Use the pipe opening cut out on the room-side for the water-side
connection. Remove the pipe conduit that has been cut out. Seal
the thermostatic valve and return shut-off valve with appropriate
sealing compound and screw the valves to the fan connections on the
convector.

Then fit the flow and return pipes.
l
Run a pressure test.

Attach these installation instructions to the floor duct so that they are
clearly visible to any trades people at a later date.
l
Cover the grille and floor duct with a transparent protective cover to
protect them from dirt or cement.
5. Thermoelectric Actuator
Lay an empty conduit Ø 23 mm for the connection cable from the
thermoelectric actuator to the floor duct and flush-mounted box
(provided on-site) to connect the thermoelectric actuator.
