Operating Above 1000 m Above Sea Level
At high altitudes, the standard air / fuel mixture will become excessively rich. This will lead to a
decrease in performance, an increase in fuel consumption, rapid wear of the spark plug and
problems with starting the unit.
If the generator is designed to operate at high altitudes, have the carburetor modified by an
authorized service center. However, even though the carburetor has been modified, generator
efficiency will decrease by 3.5% for every 300m increase in altitude.
NOTE! If a high-altitude generator is used at a lower altitude, a lean fuel / air mixture will reduce
performance and may overheat and seriously damage the engine.
MAINTENANCE
Poor maintenance and good condition of the machine, and improper preparation of the machine
before it is put into operation can cause injury or even death. Follow the safety instructions,
operation and maintenance to minimize this risk.
Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and trouble-free operation. It will also help
reduce air pollution.
WARNING The exhaust gas contains poisonous carbon monoxide. Turn off the engine
before performing any maintenance. If the engine must be running, make sure the room is well
ventilated.
