Calibrating concentrate pumps
This function is used to calibrate the speed of the coffee pump (Pump 1).

buttons to adjust the pump speed during pump calibration
1. Disable the coffee function as described above and then return to
‘Counter’ by pressing and holding the ‘Stop’ button until the stars appear
on the display. Press the
and select ‘Set up mode’
2. Press the bottom right selection button, reprogram it to dispense 1 litre jug
of coffee and set the coffee strength to a ratio of 20:1, as described in ‘Set
up mode’ above. Press the
button a few times until you reach ‘Set up
mode’. Press the stop button again to enter normal mode.
3. Re-enter ‘Engineer mode’ as described above.
4. Re-Enable the coffee function as described above.
5. Disable the water function as described above.
6. Press and hold the ‘Stop’ button to exit ‘Engineer mode’ press ‘Stop’ again
to exit ‘Setup mode’ and return to normal mode.
7. Place a 50ml measuring cylinder beneath the dispenser outlet nozzle and
press the bottom right selection button.
8. 50ml of coffee concentrate should be dispensed into the measuring
cylinder. If the amount is not correct, re-enter ‘Engineer mode’ as
described above, press the
button a few times until ‘Pump X speed’ is
displayed. Press the ‘Up’ arrow or the ‘Down’ arrow to increase or
decrease the amount of concentrate.
9. Press and hold the ‘Stop’ button to exit ‘Engineer mode’ press ‘Stop’ again
to exit ‘Setup mode’ and return to normal mode. Repeat from step 7
above until you get 50 ml.
10. When the correct volume is achieved re-enable the water and reset the
selection button to the required recipe.
11. Calibration is complete.
For FK20, ‘Pump 2’ must be calibrated using the same procedure described
above substituting ‘Pump 2’ for ‘Pump 1’.
