8.6.2 Modifying the Frequency of the Fixed Tone
1.
Press the fixed tone frequency field F1. A numeric keypad is displayed.
2. Input the new test tone frequency in MHz, and press Enter.
8.6.3 Modifying the Frequency Range of the Swept Tone
1.
Press the swept tone frequency field F2. A numeric keypad is displayed.
2. Input the new minimum tone frequency in MHz, and press Enter.
3. Input the new maximum tone frequency in MHz, and press Enter.
8.6.4 Modifying the Maximum Range
1.
Press the Max Range field. A numeric keypad is displayed.
2. Input the new Max Range setting, and press Enter.
Note:
It is very important to choose a value of Max Range that is greater than the length of the device under test. The
accuracy of the instrument cannot be guaranteed if this condition is not met.
A good rule of thumb for the value of Max Range is:
Max Range = Estimated length of device under test + 10%.
