1.25 Cleaning the Equipment

Before commencing any cleaning, switch off the equipment. We recommend that the exterior surface of the equipment

case is cleaned using a soft cloth moistened in water. Do not use aerosol or liquid solvent cleaners.

The test connector should be protected from dirt and scratches and cleaned with lint free cotton bud with isopropyl

alcohol.

Care should be taken not to scuff, scratch or damage internal RF mating surfaces. Do not rotate the body of the iVA when

connecting to a cable, rotate the fastening nut of the connector. When cleaning is a good time to inspect the connector
and insure it is in good condition and if it requires servicing.

Turning off the IVA

Press and hold the Power Switch, See Figure 3

, for approximately 3 seconds until both Tx and Rx LED’s flash, then lift

your finger from the switch then it will turn off.
