Switching on Your iVA
A momentary touch on the Power switch on the iVA. Note: the pre–use charging instructions in Section
1.7. Turn on
the iVA prior to starting the iVA application. If you have recently installed or updated the iVA Application, ensure the iVA
is charged and will be operating from a reliable power source. After initial installation or application update, it may be
necessary for the application to update the iVA firmware and download the factory calibration data. It is necessary that the
iVA and iPAD remain on until these processes have completed.

Bluetooth Connection Via Settings Menu
In order for the iVA App to connect to the iVA, a Bluetooth connection must first be established via the settings menu.
Make note of the serial number of your iVA and locate it in the iPAD’s Bluetooth devices menu and connect. You will then
need to allow the Bluetooth device to connect to the iVA Application. This will need to be repeated for all of the iVA’s in
use. iOS restricts the number of iVA’s that can be connected to 4 (As of Version 9.0.2) .
