• You can test how the collar works by simply blowing on the electrodes. Setting 1 and 2 will be sound
only followed in settings 3-7 by increasing sound and shock.
• Be patient (we know, it is tough when it comes to our pets) but barking is a habit and habits can take
time to break. The progressive training is very effective in getting the desired result from your dog but
it may take time depending on your dog
• If your dog responds immediately to the correction and stops barking, REWARD ABUNDANTLY!
(this is our favorite recommendation because it also reinforces to your dog that not barking is the
correct behavior)
