Enjoying DVD Audio
This section describes how to use the player to select the song you want to listen
to, create a program of songs, repeat a certain song, and various other functions. It
also describes the display operations for still images.

About DVD Audio
DVD Audio discs include tracks that have been divided into groups and can also include still images. The basic
structure of DVD Audio discs is shown below.
• Up to 9 groups
Some discs also include bonus groups (special groups not listed in the contents.)
BONUS appears on the display.
• One group can contain up to 99 tracks
Some tracks also include index items.
• Multiple still images
Some discs include still images that appear while the disc is playing. These still images can be controlled using the
[Automatic Slide Show method] or [Button Operated Brow sable method]. Some discs also include especial effects
for the transition between images.
* The stereo playback of some multi-channel tracks may be prohibited. For these tracks, only the front L/R channel
will be output from the digital out. The analog output will be in accordance with the [SPEAKER SETTINGS].
Using the menu to select an item to play
Some DVD Audio discs include a menu screen.
