You can listen to the sound from an iPod. You can
also operate the iPod using the remote control of
this system.
NOTE
• Depending on your iPod model or playback con-
tent, you may not obtain the explained result
even after following the operation in this manual.
• This manual explains the operations assuming
that you are using an iPod model with a click
wheel on its front surface.
• You cannot view the video source and still pic-
ture from an iPod on a connected TV.
• Refer also to the operation manual for the iPod.

IMPORTANT
• Slide the remote control mode
selector to [AUDIO].
CAUTION
• Before connecting an iPod to the main unit, turn
down the volume on the main unit to avoid unex-
pected loud sound right after the connection is
made.
• You cannot use an iPod connected to the [USB
MEMORY] terminal. Doing so displays
“RESTRICT” or “NO USB” in the display window.

When the main unit is turned off

Attach the dock adapter and iPod
to the docking station for iPod.
• The dock adapter is supplied with the iPod
or sold separately.
NOTE
• To remove the dock adapter,

lift the slot with your fingertip,
and then

pull out the dock
adapter.
• Before attaching or removing the dock adapter,
press [AUDIO
F
] to turn off the main unit.
• When attaching or removing the dock adapter,
be careful not to damage the terminal on the
docking station for iPod.
