Auto Set Up
A
Turn on the unit.
Press

on the unit or remote control. The Language
Select screen appears on the TV screen.

Select language
Press

to place the pointer next to your desired
language (English, Russian or Arabic), then press
OK

The Clock Set screen appears.

Set the time.

Set the date.
Press

to set the date, then press
OK

Press and hold

to change the date by 15 days.

Set the year.
Press

to set the year, then press
SET UP MENU

to change the year by 1 year.

Select the TV system.
Press

to place the pointer next to the appropriate TV
system (refer to the table below).

Start Auto Channel Set.
Press

As Auto Set Up progresses, the

” mark on the TV screen
moves from left to right.

When Auto Set Up is
completed, the lowest position
number will appear on the front
display panel. If “SCAN

make sure that the aerial cable
is connected to the unit properly and press
OK
on the remote
control. The unit will try Auto Set Up again.
NOTES:

If there is a power cut, or if you press

SET UP MENU
while Auto Set Up is in progress, Auto Set Up will be
interrupted; be sure to turn off the unit power once and try
again from step

If no sound accompanies the picture or the audio sounds
unnatural on some channels that have been stored by Auto Set
Up, the TV system setting for those channels may be incorrect.
Select the appropriate TV system for those channels.

The Auto Set Up simplifies installation by guiding you
through the procedures of setting the clock and tuner
channels – simply follow the on-screen menus that appear.
Before starting, make sure of the following:

The TV aerial cable should be connected to the unit.
●
The unit’s mains power cord should be connected to a
mains outlet.
●
The “Video Channel Set“ (

pg. 12) should be performed
and the TV should be set to its AV mode (with AV
connection
墌
pg. 9) or UHF channel (with RF connection
墌
pg. 9).
●
Slide the
TV/VCR/DVD
switch to the right.
Press

to set the hour,
then press
OK

Press and hold

to change
the time by 30 minutes.

DO NOT press any button on the unit or remote
control while Auto Set Up is in progress.
Auto Channel Set is performed next. Auto Channel Set scans
all the channels that are receivable by your unit. During Auto
Channel Set, the channel numbers are displayed as they are
scanned and set.
ATTENTION
If you perform Auto Set Up successfully during installation,
there’s no need to separately perform the Clock Set or
Channel Set procedures, but if adjustments become
necessary, they can be performed as follows:
