Install Windows Mobile® Device Center on a Desktop Computer
(Windows Vista™)
To install the Windows Mobile
®
Device Center on a desktop
computer with Windows Vista™ complete the following steps:
1. Connect your device to your desktop computer.
2. Download the Windows Mobile
®
Device Center Installer
to your computer by clicking on the download link that
appears in the pop-up window.
3. Select “Run this program from its current location” and
click OK.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Creating Windows Mobile® Device Center Connection
Once Windows Mobile
®
Device Center has been installed,
create a connection at any time by plugging one end of a USB
cable into the computer and the other end into the Field PC.
Windows Mobile
®
Device Center automatically opens. Follow
the steps on the screen.
Note: For more information about connecting to a computer using
either ActiveSync
®
or Windows Mobile
®
Device center visit the
