The battery connector and socket must
only be connected or disconnected with
both the truck and the battery charger
switched off.
– Withdraw the battery connector (4).
– Remove any insulating matting from
the batteries.
4 Charging the battery
– Expose the battery (refer to section 3).

During the recharging operation the tops
of the battery cells must be exposed to
ensure adequate ventilation. No metal
objects must be placed on the battery.
Prior to starting the recharging opera-
tion, check all cable connections and
plugged connections for visible damage.
– Connect the charging cable of the battery charger to the battery connector.
– Recharge the battery observing the instructions provided by the battery supplier
and by the battery charger supplier.

All safety instructions as provided by the battery supplier and battery charger supplier
must be strictly observed.
