Braking
F
The brake pattern of the truck depends largely on the track conditions. The driver
must take this into account.
Braking with the service brake:
– Set the tiller (4) up or down to one of the brake
zones (B).
M
The service brake is the regenerative brake. Only
when this brake fails to achieve the necessary
brake force is the mechanical brake applied.
Inversion braking:
– You can set the travel switch (6) to the opposite direction when travelling.
– The truck brakes regeneratively until it starts to move in the opposite direction.
Braking with the coasting brake:
If the travel switch is set to 0, the truck automatically brakes regeneratively.
F
In hazardous situations set the tiller to the brake position.
Travelling on inclines
M
Loads must always be carried at that end of the truck facing uphill.
Preventing the truck from “rolling downhill”:
– With the controller set to zero, the brake automatically engages after a short jerk
(the controller detects the truck is rolling back on the slope). The service brake is
released again via the controller, which is also used to select the speed and the
travel direction.
