Lifting by crane

Only use lifting gear with sufficient capacity (for transport weight see truck data plate).

The attachment points (1) are provided for lifting the truck with crane lifting gear
(in the middle on the ZZ mast).
– Park the truck securely (see Chapter E).
– Strap the lifting gear onto the attachment
points (1) (in the middle on the ZZ mast).

Attach the crane slings to the strap points
so that the truck cannot slip. Crane slings
should be fastened in such a way that they
do not come into contact with any parts of
the truck when it is being raised.

Securing the Truck for Transport
F
The truck must be securely fastened when
transported on a lorry or a trailer. The lorry
/ trailer must have fastening rings.
– To fasten the truck strap the tensioning
belt to the truck and attach it to the
fastening rings.
– Tighten the tensioning belt with the
tensioner.
Z
Loading must be carried out by specially
trained staff in accordance with
recommendations contained in Guidelines
VDI 2700 and VDI 2703. In each case
correct measurements must be made and
appropriate safety measures adopted.
