Power connection: 

The device must be connected to a power socket that provides a 
protective earthing conductor. 

 

Power switch: 

The power switch is a toggle switch placed at the rear of the device. 

 

The ON / OFF position is indicated by engravings [I] / [o] on the lever. It must be 
reached without difficulty. 
The devices may be equipped with dual power supply, in this case it will have 
two power cords and switches. You must inform yourself about the location and 
assignment of the switches. 

 

Water protection: 

The device must not be exposed to splash or dripping water. 

 

It is permitted to place a container filled with liquids (e.g. vases) 

 

on top of the device. 

 
Service safety 

Only qualified personnel should perform service procedures. 

 

Do not service alone: 

Do not perform internal service or adjustments of the device unless another 
person capable of rendering first aid and resuscitation is present. 

 

Disconnect power: 

To avoid electrical shock, switch off the device power, then disconnect the 
power cord from the mains power. Do not block the power cord; it must remain 
accessible to the user at all times

Mounting: 

It must be placed on a flat surface or must be mounted  into an 19" rack.  
It is recommended to use metal brackets (sheet steel angle) to support the 
device.
