1 Introduction
1.1 Preface
These instructions describe installation, displays and controls, as well as the
electrical connection.
Comprehensive information can be found in the System Manual, which is
addressed to the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and to the user with
appropriate technical know-how. It describes the scope of delivery of the
JUMO automation system with its modules, and gives all the necessary infor-
mation for project design and start-up.
Please keep these Installation Instructions in a place which is accessible to the
installation and operating personnel.

1.2 Delivery package
Please check every delivery to make sure it is complete and undamaged.
Should something be missing or damaged, please contact your nearest JUMO
office or the main factory.
The delivery consists of:
- the module (or modules),
- the Installation Instructions and
- the plug-connectors with screw terminals.

If any problems should arise during start-up, you are asked not to
carry out any unauthorised manipulations on the unit, as this will
endanger your rights under the warranty.
Please contact your nearest JUMO office or the main factory (see
below).
