6.1 Electrical connection
_________________________________________________________________________
For electrical connection as well as for the choice of cable, you must respect the
regulations in force :
-
Connect the device to the ground terminal on the ground, with the help of a
ground terminal to the protective conductor. The conductor must have the
same section as the supply lines.
-
Put the lines of grounded star, to a point of common ground which is
connected to the supply voltage by the protective conductor.
-
Do not put lines grounding a device to another.
The electrical connection must only be carried out by qualified personnel!
The power supply must be intrinsically safe:
In a normal situation and in case of failure due to a short circuit, no flammable
spark occurs or when devices do not heat at the surface beyond the class
defined temperature (see also EN 60079-11).
To make an electric circuit can be defined as intrinsically safe all devices that
are in the circuit must be designed as intrinsically safe and certified. Besides it
has to be checked whether the interconnection of intrinsically safe devices also
meets the requirements of an electrical circuit intrinsically safe.
Interconnection itself does not guarantee a intrinsically safe circuit.
A calculation of the intrinsic safety loop must be made.
To prove the intrinsic safety, electrical limits must conform to certificates for
equipment.
Conditions are verified by comparing the permissible limits of electrical
equipment :

Generals
- Pass the cable essential through a screw ATEX.
remark
- 3 positions, tapped M20x150, for the PE ATEX are available. The positions
unused locations must be closed with the supplied buttons ATEX the sealing.
